Rhinoplasty is preferred when permanent changes in the shape of the nose are desired. Unlike the non-surgical option, with surgery the length and the width of the nose can be reduced. Furthermore, any co-existing breathing problems or nasal asymmetry can be improved. In general much better results and more significant changes in shape can be achieved with surgical nose reshaping.
